Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer - UK, North Europe (H/F)

Sensing Labs, innovative start-up in the field of IoT and connected objects based in Montpellier (France), provides wireless sensors solutions serving BtoB markets that are driven by energy & cost savings needs.

We target primarily 3 markets:

• Smart Metering (gas, water, electricity, temperature, humidity)

• Smart Building (energy efficiency, …)

• Operation optimization and predictive maintenance

The Senlab Sensors combines Hardware, Firmware & Software and are easy and fast to integrate into a final end-to-end solution. Our value proposition is to reduce cost of data, provide content-rich data previously unavailable and simplify data acquisition.

Ultra long range (up to 9.5 miles line of sight), ultra low power (up to 20 years), 17 years of experience  and a sensor range ready to use and on shelves are our major advantages.

We operate exclusively in BtoB with a large customer base of integrators, in a favourable and fast-moving environment thanks to main telephone operators in Europe, innovative radio long range and unmatched product lifetime.

Thanks to its distribution network, Sensing Labs is present throughout in Europe, Middle East, Near East and Russia. We continue to expand our international presence.

In this context, we are looking for our Business Developer to cover the United Kingdom, the Benelux, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The role will be to:

  • Create and manage the Distributors ‘network,
    • Stock our products
    • Develop sales action
    • Joint visit to customers
    • Provide trainings to team
    • Support for commercial offers
  • Promote our range to system integrators,
    • Qualify complex applications and translate then into an operational project.
    • Assist in his technical integration
  • Animate the ecosystem on its zone
    • Organize business with our partners
    • Joint visit to customers
    • Represent the company at meetings and trade-shows.
  • Ensure the recommends of our products with contractors.
    • Visit and present our products to key accounts.
  • Increase the turn-over
    • Define a business plan.

Professional profile:

You want to join an ambitious start-up and are personally engaged to bring your added value. You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationship and can demonstrate collaborative skills.

You have engineering background with a strong business development skills

OR you are a business developer expert with great technical ability.

You are fluent in English with good presentation, good technical and business language and writing abilities.

Minimum 3 years experience.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Birmingham

Starting: October 2017

Salary: Competitive; to be defined
